At the age of 16 Ben moved from his hometown in the East of England to live in London where, for three years, he worked as an apprentice at the world famous Vidal Sassoon Salons.  Once trained, Ben spent another two years working his way to being one of Sassoon’s top stylists at the London flagship store in the trendy Bond Street area.  It did not take long for Ben’s talent to be recognized.  At the age of 21, Ben decided to make the switch in his career from the salon to freelance.  Within a short period of time Ben was working with the Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, and many of Europe’s top recording artists.  He then expanded his career into editorial, advertising, and runway shows.  

Since those early years, his clientele has grown to an impressive list of renown fashion photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Annie Leibovitz, Emma Summerton, Karl Lagerfeld, Steven Kline, Alexi Lubomerski, and Willy Vanderperre to name a few.

Ben now regularly works with top fashion magazines such as American Vogue, Japanese Vogue, German Vogue, and Italian Vogue, i-D magazine, Vanity Fair, AnOther magazine, and Vman. 

He also has an impressive list of advertising clients including: Hermes, Gap, H&M, MaxMara, and Avon.  Celebrity clients he has worked with over the years include: Keira Knightly, Sienna Miller, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Garner, Hugh Jackman, and Rachel Weisz.  

Although Ben’s schedule is very hectic, he still finds time to collaborate with top fashion designers to create runway looks for shows in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.  

Awards

Recently the Hollywood Reporter honored Ben in their prestigious Beauty Issue and he has been international ambassador for Proctor and Gamble's number one selling Head & Shoulders shampoo and conditioners and US ambassador for Vidal Sassoon Pro Series.
